Minutes – Toronado and Aurora Chapter Meeting

OCA National Meet, Springfield, Missouri – July 26, 2024

The TAC chapter meeting was called to order at 3 p.m. on July 26, 2024 in the Kansas A room of the University Plaza Hotel at the OCA National Meet in Springfield, Missouri.  The meeting was presided over by President Jeff Draugelis.  There were 17 attendees plus a few additional spouses.  Attendees put their names and email addresses on a sheet of paper circulated around the room.

The first order of business was to read the minutes of the previous chapter meeting in 2023.  There were no corrections or additions.

Jeff then introduced himself, and then he went around the room asking attendees new to the chapter to introduce themselves and their cars.  About a half-dozen people did this.

Jeff then mentioned his Oldsmobile and Toronado items for sale.

The treasurer’s report was then read by Dan Gulino.

Finally, there was a great deal of general, lively discussion about people’s cars and their experiences and adventures with them in general and in bringing them to the show. 

The meeting was adjourned at 4 p.m. promptly because several attendees wanted to attend the evening’s Oldsmobile races.
